Soft Ware Packages

For total personalisation, control, accurate data capture and flexible image processing, you`ll find the software to match your demands. We offer a great range of dedicated, intuitive tools for image archiving, processing and analysis.

1) cellSens Entry-Results documentation

cellSens Entry is the ideal stepping stone for researchers wanting to move into digital image acquisition and documentation. By providing control over the camera via the unique customisable interface, the Olympus cellSens Entry guarantees that each and every user can capture the images that they require using the settings that they want.

2) cellSens Standard-Experiment documentation

The Olympus cellSens Standard builds upon the cellSens Entry package, taking acquisition beyond an image, by enabling more advanced image capture processes (e.g. time lapses). It also has the capability to acquire images from TWAIN sources, as well as offering additional image processing and measurement capabilities.

3) cellSens Dimension-Experimental systems

The most versatile member of the Olympus cellSens software family is the cellSens Dimension, which is designed to provide the control and processing requirements for integrated microscope-based experiment systems. As a result, it builds on the cellSens Standard with a broad range of advanced features. The functionality of the Olympus cellSens Dimension can be further expanded with a series of specialised cellSens Solution modules.

4) cellSens Solution Modules-Specialised imaging

The functionality of the Olympus cellSens Dimension can be further expanded with a series of specialised solution modules. The Multi-position solution module introduces automated MIA functionality for the rapid creation of panoramic images. It also makes it possible to capture images from multiple stage positions, or entire stage areas. The module is designed to control a range of motorised stages from a range of manufacturers.

5) labSens-Laboratory documentation

labSens is a complete documentation package for clinical and research microscope imaging. The software presents a workflow-oriented user interface providing straightforward access to the most frequently used functions for documentation including image acquisition, measurements and data export. The functionality of labSens can be further expanded with the specialised labSens Pathosolution as well as the NetCam and Motorised Stage hardware modules, to provide a tool set tailored to the specific needs of each laboratory.

6) labSens Patho-advanced clinical documentation

The labSens Patho solution module offers case-oriented workflow-driven image acquisition along with a client-server database ideal for implementing consistent data structure and clear documentation routines. Connectivity to external databases improves response times for labs to requests and the overall speed of internal communication.

Olympus Xcellence SOFTWARE

The range covers advanced live-cell techniques such as real-time high-speed imaging, TIRFM and HILO (cell TIRF), photo control such as FRAP, FLIP and photo activation (cell FRAP), and laser spinning disc confocal (cell SPIN).

The Olympus xcellence live cell imaging system range is designed to bring the most advanced fluorescent imaging techniques within easier reach, whilst pushing the very boundaries of optical imaging. The Unix-based controller provides the high-speed parallel component management required to ensure that each procedure can capture the most advanced data.

cell^TIRF

The new total internal reflection fluorescence microscopy module, cell^TIRF, features 4 laser lines with separate motorised angle control enabling synchronised acquisition with identical penetration depth. The xcellence software enables the user to set incident angles or penetration depths with ease, as well as running experiments with varying penetration depths.

cell^FRAP

The cell^FRAP system offers the state-of-the-art in photo control technology, enabling advanced FRAP, iFRAP, FLIP, FLAP, photoactivation and photoconversion. Optically, the FRAP module can incorporate two separate laser lines or a laser combiner and is introduced into the microscope via a separate light-path to the camera and fluorescence illumination.

cell^SPIN

The Olympus cell^SPIN has been developed as a bright laser spinning disk confocal system with the highest emission efficiency on the market. This is achieved by using high power lasers with fine control over the field of illumination and new laser combiner technology with dramatically enhanced coupling efficiency, ensuring that as much light as possible illuminates the sample.
